The SOS Ministries logo

The number three holds great significance to God and also to Susan. Therefore, she selected three symbols to represent SOS Ministries, which is a ministry of healing.

The Cross - first and foremost to our healing is the cross. The cross represents Jesus Christ, who bore all our diseases. Christ and His completed work on the cross is the means through which we receive spiritual, emotional, and physical healing.

Praying hands - If healing is needed, then prayer is needed. Praying hands are placed behind the cross representing the power behind our ability to access healing from the Lord. Our praying hands move God's hands. He responds to our needs and requests for healing when we pray through His Son, Jesus.

The feather - The feather shown in the logo is actually a feather from a very special bird named Miracle Sue. Susan shares her personal story and the meaning behind this feather in her book and also on this website. This feather reminds us that we have a God of hope. God gives us hope and is able to perform miracles in seemingly impossible situations.
