As Commander, God can command anything into existence. He gives orders, instructions, and assignments. Our Commander has always had missions, and He has a very important one in this war against cancer.
What is His mission?
God has a mission to heal and to save.
"Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise"
Jeremiah 17:14
The Commander wants to make sure that every cancer soldier receives his or her ultimate victory, which is found through saving the soul. God desires to save each soul from the enemies that may be attacking during a cancer battle.
Save it from fear
Save it from despair
Save it from emotional wounds
Save it from DIS-EASES
Does God desire for you to be healed and whole? Does He care about the condition of your soul?
"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth"
KJV, 3 John 1:2
The above verse declares that God wishes we prosper and be in good health. This verse also reveals the importance of the soul concerning our ability to prosper.
What is the soul? When God breathed His breath into man, he became a living soul. "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul" (KJV, Genesis 2:7). The soul is the emotions, mind, will, and personality. Also, the soul is the part of us that is eternal.
God desires that our souls be free from DIS-EASE. In some cases, healing the soul from pain and wounds can then free the body to receive healing. Emotional DIS-EASE is not always the cause of physical disease, but with cancer quite often it appears to play a significant role in the disease process.
God sees a great need with cancer soldiers - a need for healing. He is making His move and desires for His mission to be made known. If you are a cancer soldier, then God has a mission with you. However, because God allows us freedom of choice, you will have to choose whether or not you become victorious. During your battle you will have some important choices to make, and right now you can make a very important one.
